1. Soluviljelytiloissa (357B / 358B) on kaksi penkkiä, joissa lukee "saa ottaa". Jos tarvitsette penkkiä mm. labraan, ko penkit voi ottaa käyttöön.
2. Huoneessa 361B on Eppendorf pöytäsentrifugi (5810R). Kun käytät ko sentrifugiin kuuluvia roottoreita, jotka ovat myös samassa huoneessa, ns radius (rad) arvoa ei tarvitse muuttaa. Sentrifugi osaa siis vaihtaa rad arvon oikeaksi. Rad arvo tarkoittaa roottorin säteen pituutta (=halkaisija jaettuna kahdella). Jos menet itse manuaalisesti vaihtamaan rad arvon, silloin tämä automaattinen säätö ei enää toimi. Esim. falconeiden fuugaukseen tarkoitetun roottorin rad arvo pitäisi olla 18.
