UNIVERSITY FUNDED CONSULTATION OF PROPOSALS FOR ERC STARTING GRANT APPLICANTS
European research Council (ERC) grants support individual researchers (and their teams) of any nationality and age who wish to pursue their frontier research activity in any EU Member State or Associated Country. The ERC grants operate on a ‘bottom-up’ basis
without predetermined priorities. Scientific excellence is the “sole evaluation criterion” of the proposals. Applicant Principal Investigator must demonstrate the ground breaking nature, ambition and feasibility of their scientific proposal. Project services
offer the applicants of the Starting Grant call 2014 a chance to have their proposal reviewed remotely by external experts (Yellow
Research). Consultation is free for the applicant and his/her unit.
If you are interested in having your proposal reviewed, please contact Päivi Tomperi (paivi.tomperi@oulu.fi)
by 31st of January at the latest to get more detailed information about the consultation.
