Väitöstilaisuuksien järjestäminen (Patiossa)

Väitöstilaisuudet voidaan järjestää noudattaen voimassa olevia turvallisuusohjeita ja huomioiden alueella voimassa olevat viranomaisten rajoitukset. Väitöstilaisuuden osallistujamäärä paikan päällä on alueellamme rajoitettu 20 henkilöön. Rajoitteen voi välttää edellyttämällä väitöstilaisuuteen osallistuvalta yleisöltä EU:n digitaalista koronatodistusta (koronapassi). Väitöstilaisuuteen työtehtävissä osallistuvilta yliopiston työntekijöiltä ei koronapassia kuitenkaan edellytetä, eikä sitä pidä kysyä. Koronapassin käyttöönotosta ja sen tarkistamisesta päättää väitöstilaisuuden järjestäjä. Väitöstilaisuus voidaan edelleenkin järjestää myös osittain tai kokonaisuudessaan etäyhteydellä, jolloin kuitenkin väittelijän ja kustoksen tulee olla paikan päällä väitössalissa.

Instructions for organizing doctoral thesis defenses (In Patio)

Doctoral thesis defenses can be held by taking into account university´s safety instructions and regional restrictions imposed by the authorities. 20 people at the most can attend the event on the spot and organiser shall ensure that the number of persons does not exceed. The restriction can be avoided by requiring the COVID-19 passport from the public attending the dissertation. However, the COVID-19 passport cannot be required and asked for university employees participating in an event on duty. The use of the COVID-19 passport will be decided by the organiser of the doctoral thesis defence. The thesis defences can be organised partly or mainly remotely, however, in which case doctoral candidate and custos will participate on the spot in the lecture hall.
