Oulu Laboratory Animal Centre (OULAC) organises a course for people designing procedures and projects. An official designer competence is compulsory for designing animal experiments, and when applying for a project licence to use animals in scientific or educational purpose.

People who attend the designer course must have a higher academic degree in a scientific discipline relevant to laboratory animal research (or studies near completion) and have completed the course for people carrying out procedures on animals.

Attached are the course flyer with information about the contents and registration, and a more thorough introduction to the course.
