Come and learn how you can develop your research toward the needs of industry and increase your possibility to get new type research funding. The training contains practical exercises.

Place: H108 (Kontinkangas campus, Aapistie 7, old meeting room of faculty of Medicine, can be found under the stairs which lead to the cafeteria in the hall of Aapistie 7)

To whom: PhD students, post docs, senior scientists and group leaders. The focus of training is in the applications of biosciences, health and medical technology.  

Trainer:

Juhani Lahdenperä, Biotech Start-up Management Oy. Juhani has worked over fifteen years in the biotechnology field – last ten years as a start-up CEO or Operations Manager. He has been responsible for the day-to-day management of operations, fundraising and business development activities in his recent positions. At the University of Oulu Juhani has studied biochemistry and now in recent years he has kept “research to business” trainings and has been developing research ideas towards the requirements need for getting Tekes TUTLI funding.
