How to identify and describe the impact of your research? Research always has an impact on the surrounding society. We might recognize the various impacts our research contributes to, but how well can we describe the path from our expected research results to the possible long-term changes? In the Impact Helper lecture, we will find out all about impact: what it is, how it can be maximized, and if and how it can be measured. After the lecture, we will have a hands-on workshop where you will create an impact plan for your research. The plan can be utilized in research funding applications to various funders.

Research funding specialist Kirsi Ojutkangas is a true expert on impact. She will guide the participants to better know-how.

The training is organized in collaboration with the Profi6 Fibrobesity research programme, Medical Research Center Oulu, and Research Support Services of the University of Oulu.

The lecture and workshop are open to all researchers. Please register no later than Thursday, September 7.

There is no limit to the number of participants for the lecture and the workshop can accommodate the 25 fastest registrants.
