Research Support Services provides EU funding trainings for researchers and support staff. This session on 3th of May (new date) will be organised in collaboration with LGI
consulting to present EU research and innovation funding landscape for the years 2021-27 and possibilities different programmes e.g. Horizon Europe, Digital Europe, LIFE and Erasmus+ offer.
Calls for proposals can be complex, and hundreds of hours of work depend on your ability to decode them properly. In order to do that, you need to have an understanding of the policy landscape, as well as a structure
and way of thinking. This training will give you an opportunity to improve your skills in these areas.
LGI has a vast experience with EU funding from the last 15 years and has access to hundreds of proposals and evaluation reports. The training is intended to give you a shortcut to all that information, without having
to spend 15 years applying for funding! Training is open for all researchers, whether you are just turning your interest in EU projects or has already experienced in EU-level. Deadline for the registration
is 22.4. !

Research and Project Services is organising together with LGI consulting a workshop on proposal writing to support researchers
who are interested in Horizon Europe consortium projects. Hand-on sessions will give the participants a possibility to set up a proposal and work on elements which are crucial for success.
LGI has a vast experience with EU funding from the last 15 years and has access to hundreds of proposals and evaluation reports. The training is intended to give you a shortcut to all that information, without having
to spend 15 years applying for funding!
Registration is open for all researchers, whether you are just turning your interest in EU projects or has already experienced in EU-level. Due to the limited number of seats (20), participants will be notified with
the decision after the deadline of 19.4.
The workshop will consist of two separate 3,5-hour sessions. Coffee and lunch will be served for participants.

9:00-12:30 Workshop 1 Understanding calls and managing a proposal
Setting up a proposal is a project in itself with deliverables, milestones, partners and lots of time spent. Getting so many people with different backgrounds, motivations and understanding of the concept to work together
efficiently can be a daunting task. This workshop will have you set up a proposal and help you to get a better grip on some of the key aspects suchs as setting up a consortium, SMART KPIs, barriers, risks, budgeting, etc.

13:30-17:00 Workshop 2 Defining key impact pathways
The workshop is highly interactive and consists of quizzes, writing exercises, group work. Two trainers will work together to supervise and help groups. Participants will receive the following support material: master
slides, a tool used by LGI to kick-start the proposal writing process, a tool used by LGI to define objectives and impacts in the project.
