Soluviljelijöiden kokous to 6.6.

CRC:n kahvihuone

1. Anjan tekemä mykoplasmatesti toukokuussa oli kaikkien näytteiden osalta negatiivinen. Seuraava testi tullaan tekemään syyskuun alussa ja sitä varten oli tällä hetkellä tiedossa jo parisen kymmentä näytettä sisä- ja lastentaudeilta. Anja varautuu useammalla kitillä jotta kaikki tarvittavat näytteet saadaan testattua. Tarkemmasta mykoplasmatesti-ajankohdasta ilmoitetaan lomien jälkeen.

2. Pipet boy tilauksesta keskusteltiin. Eri malleja on testattu ja lopputuloksena päädyttiin ehdotukseen jonka mukaan tilattaisiin kahdelta eri valmistajalta: 4 x Integra ja 3 x Corningin Stripettor.

3. Kaikissa soluviljelylaboratorioissa vähenee toiminta kesän ajaksi, minkä vuoksi päätettiin pitää kaikissa kolmessa tilassa päällä vain yhtä inkubaattoria ja sulkea toinen. Tällöin suljetun kaapin voi pestä ja steriloida jo ennen loma-kauden alkua ja sillä tavalla välttää välinehuollon ruuhkaa. Kun lomien jälkeen palataan takaisin ja soluviljelytoiminta aktivoituu, kannattaa kaasujen tarkistus ainakin kesän ajaksi suljettujen kaappien osalta ajoittaa samaan aikaan.

4. Loma-kauden ajan soluviljelylaboratorioiden ylläpidosta huolehtivat huonekohtaiset vastuuhenkilöt. Tutkimusryhmät määrittelevät ylläpidosta vastaavan henkilön loma-aikojen perusteella. Tärkeää on, että missään laboratoriossa ei unohdu vesiastioiden täyttö ja muut säännöllistä ylläpitoa vaativat toiminnot loman ajaksi. Työskentely muuttuu satunnaisemmaksi nyt kesän ajaksi, ja sen vuoksi on parempi sulkea soluviljelylaboratorion mikroskooppi aina käytön jälkeen jos ei ole varmuutta sen käytöstä enää samalle päivälle.

5. Välinehuoltoon liittyvästä toiminnasta on kirjalliset ohjeet jotka löytyvät tiskien kuljetukseen varatuista kärryistä. Tärkeää, että tutkimusryhmissä informoidaan kesän ajan CRC:llä työskenteleviä välinehuoltoon liittyvistä toiminnoista.

6. CRC:n kautta tilattava yhteiskäyttöön tuleva kulutustavara huolehditaan soluviljelyihin Antin kanssa kesäkuun aikana.

7. Soluviljelytakit viedään pesuun juhannuksen jälkeen. Tyhjentäkää takkien taskut viimeistään ma 24.6. Hox. Samaan pyykkisäkkiin mahtuu myös työtakkeja labroista.

8. GMO lupien päivityksestä keskusteltiin. Koska välinehuolto palvelee nyt BMTK:n tiloissa on tarpeen päivittää autokalvoitavien GMO jätteiden kuljetukseen liittyvät tiedot lupiin. Antti päivittää ensin CRC:n luvan ja sen jälkeen lastenneurologia.

1. Mycoplasma test in May was negative for all samples. The next test will be done by Anja at the beginning of September. Altogether around 20 samples were already listed from internal medicine and pediatrics. Anja orders several kits so that all the necessary samples can be tested. The exact time of the mycoplasma test will be announced after the holidays.

2. Pipet boy order was discussed. Different models have been tested and the end result was a proposal to order from two different manufacturers: 4 x Integra and 3 x Corning's Stripettor.

3. In all cell culture laboratories, activity decreases during the summer, which is why it was decided to keep only one incubator on in all three facilities and close the other one. In this case, the closed incubator can be washed and sterilized even before the start of the holiday season, thus avoiding problems with the equipment maintenance. When you return after the holidays and the cell culture activity is activated, it is advisable to schedule the gas check at least for the cabinets closed for the summer at the same time.

4. During the holiday season, the maintenance of the cell culture laboratories is taken care of by the persons responsible for each room. Research groups determine the person responsible for maintenance based on vacation times. It is important that none of the laboratories forget to fill the water containers and other activities that require regular maintenance during the holidays. Work will become more random now during the summer, and that is why it is better to close the microscope in the cell culture laboratory every time after use if there is no certainty that it will be used again for the same day.

5. There are written instructions for the activities related to dish washing and autoclaving, which can be found in the carts reserved for the transport. It is important that the research groups inform those working at CRC about the activities related to DWA maintenance during the summer.

6. Consumables for joint use ordered through CRC will be taken care of for cell cultures with Antti during June.

7. Cell culture coats are taken to the wash after Midsummer. Please empty your coat pockets by Monday 24 June at the latest. Hox. The same laundry bag can also fit coats from the labs.

8. The update of GMO permits was discussed. Since the DWA now serves at BMTK's facilities, it is necessary to update the information related to the transport of GMO waste in the permits. Antti first updates the CRC's license and then pediatric neurology.
