Bridge over Obesity – From Science to Practice

 

Welcome to exploring cutting-edge research and therapeutic advancements in obesity treatment with esteemed speakers, interactive poster sessions, and insightful discussions. This joint symposium is organized by the University of Oulu Fibrobesity research programme, the Finnish Association for the Study of Obesity (FASO), and the Finnish Pharmacological Society (FPS).

 

Time: 26 November 2024, full day event

Location: Leena Palotie Hall, Aapistie 5A, University of Oulu.

Remote connection is available for registered participants.

19:00- Conference dinner (Theatre Restaurant Aulis, Kaarlenväylä 2 90100 Oulu) and the young investigator prizes based on oral and poster presentations. Registration required, no fee.

 

Oral and poster presentations

Short talks and poster presentations have been selected from the submitted abstracts. The best oral presentation (selected by a jury) and poster (voted by all participants) will be awarded the Young Investigator Prize. All abstracts will be available for reading by the participants in the symposium bulletin.

 

Abstract submission

The deadline for abstract submission was 31.10., but late-bird poster abstract submissions are possible until November 15.
