Subject: [Ltkhkunta] NANOSIGHT-demonstration

Dear All,

There will be a presentation and also demonstration of NANOSIGHT-apparatus here in Kieppi, 2^nd floor, Microbiology library

on Thursday 4^th of April at 10 am.

The Nanosight-technique is for nanoparticle analysis in biological samples. See attached specific information.

Applications are:

- Exosome and microvesicle characterization

- Liposomes

- Nanoparticle aggregates

- Viruses

- Drug delivery and drug discovery

- Vaccines

- Carbon nanotube analysis

- Metallic nanoparticles

There will be a possibility to discuss of all applications with a Nanosight-specialist and to discuss the need for this technique in general.

Please share this message within your departments and research groups.

I would greatly appreciate if you could notify me in advance if you will attend (mostly to assure that there will be sufficient space for everyone)
