This time we will meet Professor and Scientific Leader of Biocenter Oulu, Johannes Kettunen. He is part of the Faculty of Medicine and the multidisciplinary Research Unit of Population Health. Kettunen was one of the leaders in the world's largest study on the genetic factors related to metabolism, the results of which were published in the science journal Nature this March. Kettunen will be interviewed about his career and research by Simo Kekäläinen.
You are warmly welcome to join us and hear more about the successful career and research of Johannes Kettunen! The event will be held in English at Tellus Stage on the Linnanmaa campus on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, from 12:00 to 13:00. After the interview, the audience will have an opportunity to ask questions from Kettunen. Coffee/tea and light snacks will be provided.
