Hei kaikki,

Tuodakseen yhteen yliopistomme arktista tutkimusta ja edistääkseen alan tieteellistä profiilia ja kansainvälistymistä yliopiston rehtoraatti on päättänyt käynnistää arktisen tutkijaverkoston (työnimi: Arctic Research Network) toiminnan.

Verkoston valmistelu ja jatkotoimet on osoitettu Thule-instituutille toteutettavaksi yhteistyössä Tellus Innovation Areenan, Tutkimuksen tukipalveluiden, Viestintä- ja markkinointiyksikön sekä Kvantum-instituutin kanssa. Verkosto on samalla osa Arctic Interactions- tutkimuksen profilaatiota. Pyrimme tukemaan yliopiston arktista tutkimusta tekevien tutkijaryhmien kansainvälistä tieteellistä näkyvyyttä ja verkostoitumista. Avaamme ensimmäisen haun helmikuussa. Sitä ennen pyydämme kiinnostuneita ilmoittautumaan tutkijaverkoston tutkijalistalle.

Dear researcher,

If you are doing research related to Arctic topics, please find information about the new university-level Arctic network.

UOulu´s researchers working on Arctic topics as well as the researchers of the Research Institutes situated in UOulu´s different campuses areas are invited to participate in the research activities of the network. The starting point of the network is registration, which will be opened shortly. There will be small grants for international networking for PIs and postdoctoral researchers, who are planning a research project for the calls concerning their expertise in Arctic and northern research.

There will be an info-session on 28^th of January in Tellus Galaxy at 10.30-12.00 with more information about how to join.
