SAVE THE DATE - The Animal Welfare Body of Oulu Laboratory Animal Centre will organise a full-day 3R-symposium on Wednesday, 11 February 2026: Smart Science, Kind Practices – Advancing Animal Welfare Together

3 Rs refer to replacement, reduction and refinement in experimental animal research. The event brings together professionals from various fields to share ethical, practical and scientific advancements in animal-based research.

The symposium will be held at the University of Oulu, Kontinkangas campus, Aapistie 5A, Leena Palotie Hall (101A).

An initial programme is attached, with the speakers confirmed so far and their presentation themes. The symposium also features short oral presentations and posters.
