Subject: Service note for BCO Olympus FV1000 users
Dear BCO Olympus FluoView 1000 confocal users,
Microscope's argon-ion laser is not working at the moment. That is the laser unit producing 458nm, 488nm and 514nm excitation wavelengths commonly used for cyan/green/yellow dyes (CFP,Alexa 488, GFP, YFP etc.). If those channels are needed, please use alternative microscopes (e.g. Zeiss confocals).
The laser will be repaired as soon as possible and I will send you a new email as soon as the problem is fixed.
