The speakers in this Brown Bag seminar will be Eija Pirinen, associate professor in the research unit of internal medicine (Faculty of Medicine) contributing to the Fibrobesity profiling theme, and Sanna Huikari, a postdoctoral researcher in the department of economics, accounting, and finance (Oulu Business School). They have both researched human health from their own perspective, and now we get to enjoy the combination of these two.

In the Brown Bag seminars of Spring 2022, you will get the chance to get to know the research of researchers in the Fibrobesity profiling theme alongside interesting research topics from different disciplines in our university.

Fibrobesity is an Academy of Finland funded research theme that focuses on obesity-related fibrotic pathologies.
