On this Friday, May 31,  Kontinkangas Campus seminars presents:

 

May 31st (Friday), 13:00-14.00 in F202, Scott Gilbert will give a presentation: Holobiont evo-devo: the importance of developmental symbiosis for evolution. Those who have heard him earlier, know that he is an excellent and inspiring speaker!

 

Professor Scott Gilbert is the Howard A. Schneiderman Professor of Biology (emeritus) at Swarthmore College, where he has taught developmental genetics, embryology, and the history and critiques of biology. Prof. Gilbert has written several textbooks, and for example Developmental Biology (now in its tenth edition) is one of the most widely used textbooks in the field.

 

The seminar are open for all, welcome!
