Dear all, Next Thursday, September 25, at15.15-16 in F202 Pharmacology there will be a seminar by Professor Derek Logan from SciLifeLab and Department of Biochemistry and Structural Biology, Lund University, Sweden. The title of the seminar is "The amazingly versatile ATP-cone domain and its role in ribonucleotide reductase regulation".

Two particular current focus areas are allosteric regulation of the essential enzyme ribonucleotide reductase, at both the enzyme and transcriptional levels, as well as drug design against the galectin family of carbohydrate binding proteins."
