Tutkimusinfrastruktuurien tiekarttahakuun sisäinen prosessi (In

Suomen Akatemia avaa tutkimusinfrastruktuurien tiekarttahaun huhtikuussa ja haku päättyy viimeistään 16.5.2024. Uusi
tiekartta ajoittuu vuosille 2025-2028 ja uudistuksen myötä haussa voi hakea tiekartalle pääsyn lisäksi rahoitusta viideksi vuodeksi. Suomen Akatemia julkaisee lisätietoa helmikuun alussa ja varsinaisen hakukuulutuksen maaliskuun alussa.
Tiekarttahaku koskee ainoastaan kansallisia tutkimusinfrastruktuureja - sekä niitä, jotka ovat tällä hetkellä tiekartalla
että niitä, jotka esittävät uusia avauksia. Tiekartalla olevien tutkimusinfrastruktuurien tulee hakea tässä haussa voidakseen säilyttää tiekarttastatuksensa. Haku ei koske kansainvälisiä jäsenyyksiä tai muita ei-tiekartalla olevia tutkimusinfrastruktuureja.

Sekä tutkimusinfrastruktuurien johtajat että kumppanit osallistuvat sisäiseen prosessiin.

Tutkimuksen vararehtori Taina Pihlajaniemi johtaa keskustelua. Tavoitteena on saada hyvä kuva tarpeista tutkimusinfrastruktuureille
Oulun yliopistoa, sekä tiekartalle suunniteltavista hankkeista että muista merkittävistä tutkimusinfrastruktuureista. Samalla saadaan tietoa Suomen Akatemian isäntäorganisaation priorisointia varten niiden osalta, jotka hakevat tiekartalle.

Roadmap research infrastructures – call and internal process
A call for the Roadmap for Finnish Research Infrastructures opens in April and closes no later than 16 May 2024. The
new roadmap covers the years 2025–2028 and following a reform, applicants may apply for both access to the roadmap and up to five years of funding. The Research Council of Finland will release more information in early February and publish the call details
in early March.
The call will only concern national research infrastructures (RI) currently on the roadmap or ones applying to the
roadmap. RIs currently on the roadmap will need to apply to retain the status. International memberships or other RI will not be considered in this call.
Internal process at University of Oulu
The same process involves research infrastructure leaders and partners.
2) Join the discussion on research infrastructures on 20 February at 1 pm – 3 pm on
Teams.
Taina Pihlajaniemi, Vice Rector Research, will chair the discussion. The aim is to get a full picture of the needs
for research infrastructures, both regarding the roadmap plans and other major research infrastructures and gather information for the upcoming host organization prioritization process, required by the funder.
