Subject: BCO light microscopy user fees

Dear BCO light microscopy core facility users and research group leaders,

LM core facility pricing and user policy will be changed from the beginning of 2016. The basic maintenance of the core facility instruments is covered by user fees, and due to increased repair expenses, user fees need to be moderately raised.

From now on, accumulated invoices will be charged two times / year. There is a maximum expense limit of 4000€ / charging period / research group. Hours exceeding that limit during a six month period will not be charged, so the maximum yearly expenses will be 8000€ / group. A detailed and updated price list and charging policy can be found from the core facility website (http://www.oulu.fi/biocenter/lm/user-policy).

After this renewal we are still able to offer advanced light microscopy services for you all with lower prices than the other imaging centers in Finland, so welcome!
