  CALL FOR APPLICATIONS

 

The Faculty of Medicine at the University of Oulu announces a call for applications for

                                                                                                            

                                                                                       15 doctoral training months

                                                                 divided into 1-3 month periods per doctoral trainee.

 

The Research Committee has an appropriation of EUR 50,000 to be allocated, and  the Committee has decided to support doctoral trainees in our faculty in the first and final phases of the dissertation process.

                                           

The following documents must be presented as attachments to the application:

1)      A short research plan (max 3 pages)

2)      A clarification regarding the current stage of the dissertation and completed theoretical studies

3)      A clarification regarding how the appropriation will be used for advancing the dissertation

4)      A statement by the supervisor of the dissertation

 

The salary is determined in accordance with the university salary system.

 

The applications must be delivered by Monday 7 January 2013 before 16:15 to the Faculty Office at the Faculty of Medicine: Faculty of Medicine, P.O. Box 5000, 90014 University of Oulu.
