EOSC-Life launches two new Digital Life Sciences Calls

What is EOSC- Life?
EOSC-Life brings together 13 Life Science Research Infrastructures (RIs) to create an open, digital and collaborative space for data resources and data processing workflows in the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC)
What projects is EOSC-Life looking for?
1. EOSC-Life Call for Sensitive Data Project:This call invites projects that will make sensitive data and/or tools and workflows dealing with such data available to the EOSC and the scientific community. Find out more about this call by visiting www.eosc-life.eu/sensitivedatacall/
2. EOSC-Life Call for Academia-Industry Collaborations:This call addressed specifically at those EOSC-Life consortium members that wish to implement a project jointly with the private sector. Find out more about this call by visiting www.eosc-life.eu/industrycall/
What is EOSC-Life offering?
The EOSC-Life Call is offering funding and technical support and expertise to enable the delivery of complex, cloud-connected life science research projects. Applicants can request funding up to 70,000 EUR per project for personnel costs and projects should last a maximum of 12 months. The expertise offered by the EOSC-Life consortium will cover four main topics:
1. Data curation, handling and integration for publishing into the cloud 2. Tool interoperability, workflows and containerisation 3. Cloud deployment and resources 4. Sensitive data handling
Who is eligible to apply?
These calls are aimed at EOSC-Life consortium members that wish to implement a project and contribute to the long-term aims of developing an open digital space for data and tools in the life sciences.
