Dear all,
We cordially invite you to Baltic Bone Symposium 2022 which will be held this year online in Zoom. Take the opportunity to meet virtually with bone and other skeletal tissue researchers and hear the interesting talks! Last year the Zoom symposium was a success, and this year will be no exception. Hopefully, we'll be able to meet in person by 2023.
When: Thursday 28th of April 2022 at 9:00 – 13:30 (Finnish time)
Where: online in Zoom (link will be provided later)
Registration: via Webropol (https://link.webropolsurveys.com/S/520EC3639BC17709)
The deadline for registration is 28.3.2022.
Confirmed invited speakers:
Professor Takayoshi Nakano, Osaka University: “Bone matrix orientation and development of orthopedic devices based on it”
Professor Claes Ohlsson, University of Gothenburg: “The role of gut microbiota for bone metabolism”
Professor Ali Mobasheri, University of Oulu: “Linking obesity, hypoxia and fibrosis to osteoarthritis”
We warmly invite you all to participate in this virtual symposium focusing on musculoskeletal research! Importantly, we hereby encourage all young scientists to submit an abstract (300 words) to be selected for a short (15 min) oral presentation. Please submit your abstract via Webropol. We will announce the selected abstracts on 7.4.2022. According to our tradition, the best presentation by a young scientist will be awarded!
Participation in the symposium is free of charge.
The annual FBS meeting will be organized in the context of this symposium. Tentative program is attached to this invitation.
We would appreciate if you could distribute this invitation to your colleagues and students who might be interested in participating in the symposium.
Welcome!
