If you are considering to submit a proposal for the joint call between the
Academy of Finland and NIH which is currently open, this session might interest you.
Purpose of the session:
The Academy of Finland (AoF) has two partners in the United States: the National
Science Foundation (NSF) and the National Institutes of Health (NIH). Currently a joint call with the NIH is open: Academy

Aim of this session is
to provide PIs who are planning to apply with an opportunity to discuss their questions with an experienced U.S. research administrator. Meaning there will be only a brief introduction talk by the session lead and otherwise it is a Q&A type session where you
can ask for advice from an experienced proposal developer.

Michelle Schoenecker is a Senior Proposal Development Manager in the Office of Sponsored Programs
& Office of Research at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. In this role Michelle works closely with faculty in the identification, development, and writing of grant proposals to secure extramural research funding.
