The Research Council of Finland (RCF) is announcing a series of thematic funding calls. The calls will be opened as part of the RCF’s spring call 2025. The targeted calls are based on the 2025 state budget, which also allocates funding for the implementation of the plan for government research and development funding.

The funding opportunities aim to boost high-impact research and development, knowledge utilisation and collaboration between different RDI actors.

The RCF spring call includes the following opportunities:

The spring call offers opportunities for researchers, research organisations and other actors to address current societal challenges and promote the impact of research.

More information on the objectives and details of each call will be set out in the call texts to be published in early March. The RCF will also organise webinars about the calls.
