Event
To start the Brown Bag seminar series of this Autumn we gaze towards the future. Our first seminar is titled "Towards novel treatments and monitoring in medicine", which brings together research from two of University of Oulu's profiling themes, 6G-enabled sustainable society (6GESS) and Fibrobesity. The seminar will be held in Tellus Linnanmaa Stage on Thu 1st of September from 11 to 12. Lunch will be served to registered participants attending the event on campus.

The speakers in this Brown Bag seminar will be Teemu Myllylä, associate professor in the research unit of health sciences and technology contributing to 6GESS profiling theme, and Eija Pirinen, associate professor in the research unit of internal medicine contributing to the Fibrobesity profiling theme. Myllylä's research focuses on monitoring the brain, and Pirinen is looking into the functioning of mitochondria. Join the seminar to learn more!
In the Brown Bag seminars of Autumn 2022 you will get to know the research of the newly started researchers in the 6G-enabled sustainable society (6GESS) profiling theme alongside interesting research topics from other disciplines in our university. 6GESS is an Academy of Finland funded research theme that focuses on wireless technologies that enable health care and energy solutions for the future.
