The EU funding opportunity EIC Pathfinder Open is open for proposals. In H2020, this funding opportunity was called FET Open. The topic in this call is bottom-up. The deadline for proposals is 4th of May. This instrument funds projects that seeks to realise an ambitious vision for a radically new technology, with potential to create new markets and/or to address global challenges. EIC Pathfinder Open supports early stage development of such future technologies (e.g. various activities at low Technology Readiness Levels 1-4), based on high-risk/high-gain science-towards-technology breakthrough research (including 'deep-tech'). The applicant must be a consortium of a minimum of three organizations (also companies can be partners) from three different EU member or associated states.
