Dear early career researcher,

you are warmly welcome to the next Biocenter Oulu Early Career Club (BCO-ECC) on Monday November 25th in H1091 at 13:30-15:30 .

These clubs are PI-free and offer a possibility for young researchers to build their professional networks and foster a collaborative atmosphere in the campus community. The content of each club is decided by the participants and can vary from topical presentations to laid-back social gatherings.

The club has already gathered twice, but now and hereinafter, it will be open to all research groups. This time, we will first hear one slide presentations from each group and then over glögi and christmas-y accompaniments have a "research match-up". This will be a great way to connect with fellow researchers, share your research interests and discover potential collaborators. In each round, you will have few minutes to introduce yourself, chat about your work and exhcange insights before moving on to the next conversation. We will also outline the content of future club meetings.

One slide / research group - This is just a fun way to start the event. You can share whatever you please (recent things from the lab, social occasions within a research group, your shared hobby) or just present the research group. Please add your slide to BCO-ECC 11.11.2024
