Subject: [Lbiok] hypoxia workstations and new Bio-Rad qPCR system in asimov
Dear colleagues,
I am informing that the two hypoxia workstations, Sci-Tive-N /Ruskinn (new) and InVivo400 /Ruskinn (old), as well as the new qPCR system, CFX96 Real-Time System /Bio-Rad (contact:
antti.salo@oulu.fi), located in Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology are now in the Asimov reservation book.
Important notice for hypoxia workstation users:
For hypoxia workstations the prior user training is required! When using the hypoxia workstation for the first time please contact me (antti.railo@oulu.fi) or Antti Salo (antti.salo@oulu.fi).
Sci-Tive-N /Ruskinn (new) hypoxia workstation is kept normally in 1 % oxygen concentration and several users can use the station at the same time. The InVivo400 /Ruskinn (old) is reserved for the variable oxygen concentrations
when both systems are functional. When reserving the hypoxia workstations please mark one slot for each day that you are going to keep your cells in the station and give the desired oxygen concentration as special information.
Best regards,
