Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine 2025: Kontinkangas Campus Event

We start with a lecture given by prof. Aki Manninen presenting the last year´s Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine awarded jointly to Victor Ambros and Gary Ruvkun “for the discovery of microRNA and its role in post-transcriptional gene regulation”.

Thereafter we connect to Karolinska Institutet, Stockholm, Sweden, to follow as a live webcast the official announcement of the 2025 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine, and a presentation of the topic by Members of the Nobel Committee.
