Hi all,
European Commission is searching for new experts with life sciences background for their expert pool for evaluating Marie Skłodowska-Curie funding applications. You need to have PhD and be active in research to be eligible. I have participated evaluation process during 3 previous evaluation rounds in past years, which have taken place in the end of the year, usually around October-November. You get training (e-training course) for doing evaluations and monetary compensation for your time (training and evaluation process). That also gives new perspective for writing your own grant applications.
So if you are interested, you can now volunteer! I can provide more information, if you like to know more, just ask!
Kind regards, Salla

Dear Expert,
Last year you participated as an evaluator in the HORIZON MSCA PF-2024 evaluation. We hope you enjoyed the experience and you would recommend it to other potential experts.
In view of the forthcoming 2025 evaluation we are looking for “new” qualified experts with Life Sciences background to increase our pool of experts (that already includes your name). For this reason, we have prepared a EU Survey - Call for Expression of Interesthttps://ec.europa.eu/eusurvey/runner/ExpressionInterestLifeSciencesExpert – and we would be grateful if you could distribute this EU survey to your colleagues and/or to any person you know who has a relevant professional profile (having a Phd, still active in research, with recent publications etc.) and might be interested in participate in the evaluation. Please share/promote this survey as much as you can so that we would have a large response.
Deadline to respond to this survey is: 15 April 2025
Link to the Survey: https://ec.europa.eu/eusurvey/runner/ExpressionInterestLifeSciencesExpert
Thank you very much for your cooperation.
Best regards,
MSCA PF LIF Panel Coordination
