Michael Evans is Director of Business Development at Metabolon. He is an experienced business development professional with experience in international markets. He is very technically minded, with a solid grounding in genomics but comes from a biochemistry background. Before joining Metabolon he was EU business development manager at Affymetrix. Science and technology are his passion, however applying these technologies to make a commercial impact is the real driver.

Michaels’ current role involves a primary focus into the population health market and strategic development within the EMEA to take the company from its current service base to clinical application, working through key collaborations and interactions at senior and political levels. He is also involved in uncovering new collaboration and partnering opportunities to develop bio-markers that may have potential future clinical application.
