·         Daniel Frankel (UK): Engineering cells to communicate with machines

·         Kevin Warwick (UK): Cells as programmers and learners of robotic control - bioelectronics applications

Session II          Bionanomaterials as tools for biomedicinal applications I

·         Seppälä Jukka (FIN): Lactone copolymers for controlled release and bioactive 3D structures

·         Tina Gulin (FIN): Mesoporous silica nanoparticles for diagnostic and therapeutic nanomedicine

Session III        Bionanomaterials as tools for biomedicinal applications   II

·         Amanda Brun (France): Magnetic cell – a building block for tissue engineering and a template for microvesicles as drug delivery systems
