INFRAPLUS Open Call

Free Provision of Mouse Embryonic Fibroblasts and Mouse Embryonic Stem Cells

INFRAFRONTIER ERIC, along with its partners MRC Harwell, University of Oulu, and PHENOMIN-ICS, is pleased to announce the launch of an INFRAPLUS Open Call aimed at generating mutant embryonic fibroblasts and mouse embryonic stem cells.

This initiative aims to support scientists in developing mutant cell models that, when scientifically appropriate, serve as alternative to animal models for relevant experimentation. It promotes the 3Rs principle (Replacement, Reduction, and Refinement) by minimising animal use whenever relevant cell models can be employed instead.

Two expert services are offered through this Open Call:

Mouse Embryonic Fibroblasts (MEFs) Isolation: This service is designed to provide MEFs isolated from existing mouse lines.
Mouse Embryonic Stem Cells (mESC) Derivation: This service aims to provide mutant mESCs derived from existing mouse lines.
