the problem with the microscope in cell culture 341B has now been solved and you can use it normally.

soluviljelyn 341B mikroskoopissa on toimintahäiriö jonka vakavuutta selvitellään. Ilmeisesti laite viedään pois huomisen aikana vian syyn tarkempaan selvittelyyn. Tällä hetkellä molemmat, 341 ja 342B ovat puhtaita joten käytetään 342B:n mikroskooppia solujen tarkasteluun (erityinen siisteys huomioiden: pintojen (tasot, mikroskooppi) viinaus on tärkeää. Tässä tilanteessa neuvon myös pyyhkimään maljojen/pullojen pohjat!). Jos mikroskoopille tarvitaan pitempiaikaista korjausta, mietitään tilanne uudelleen.

microscope in cell culture 341B does not work properly. It will be removed presumably tomorrow for thorough inspection. Since both cell cultures, 341 and 342 B, are currently free from contaminations, we can use the microscope in 342B. However, everyone needs to pay special attention to the cleanness. Don’t forget to wipe surfaces (incl. the bench and the microscope) with ethanol. In this situation, wiping the dishes/bottles with ethanol is also important to prevent spreading of any contaminations!
