Tulostuspalvelu-uudistus

Oulun yliopisto ja Canon Oy ovat tehneet sopimuksen tulostuspalveluiden tuottamisesta kokonaispalveluna  yliopiston henkilökunnalle ja opiskelijoille. Uuden tulostusympäristön toimittamisesta ja ylläpidosta vastaa Canon Oy.

Palvelun piiriin tulevat kaikki tietohallinnon UNIV-toimialuepalveluita käyttävät yksiköt, joiden henkilökunta siirtyy vaiheittain uuden palvelun käyttäjäksi kevään 2014 aikana. Opiskelijoiden käytössä uudet palvelut ovat syyslukukauden 2014 alusta lähtien.

Tulostuspalvelu-uudistuksen keskeisiä tavoitteita ovat:

-                           Tulostusympäristön toimintavarmuus ja tietoturvallisuus

-                           Tulostuslaitteiden yhtenäistäminen ja määrän vähentäminen

-                           Tulostajien tyytyväisyys

-                           Tulostuksen laatu

-                           Kustannustehokkuus  ja -tietoisuus

-                           Ympäristöystävällisyys

New Print Services

University of Oulu has made an agreement with Canon Oy of New Print Services including staff and student printing. Canon Oy will take care of all the maintenance related with printing services and devices.

The service concept will cover the units which belong to the UNIV domain services and they will begin to use new service in stages during the time of spring 2014. New printing services for students will be in use in the beginning of autumn term 2014.

The main objectives of New Print Services are:

-                           Secure Printing

-                           Standardization and reduction of devices

-                           Customer satisfaction

-                           Print Quality

-                           Cost-effectiveness and –awareness

-                           Eco-friendliness
