Third Annual Meeting in Kuopio

Welcome to the third annual meeting of the Finnish Atherosclerosis Society, to be held in Kuopio 13.-14.3.2009. The program will include invited lectures as well as oral presentations selected from abstracts submitted by the members of the Society as well as others interested in atherosclerosis and related subjects. As a keynote speaker, we are honored to have Dr. Valerie B. O?Donnell (University of Cardiff, UK) with a presentation entitled ?Identification of novel lipoxygenase-derived eicosanoids and their impact on vascular function?.

We would like to invite all of you to submit abstracts, prepared using Microsoft Word® and arranged as follows:

We would like to ask you to limit the length of the abstract to one A4 page, using single-spaced Times New Roman size 12 font.

The program and the abstract book will be printed in English and also all the presentations will

be held in English.
