* This event is targeted at all Academy of Finland applicants * Each speaker will give a presentation for 15-20 minutes * Participants can ask questions from the speakers after their presentations * Parts of the event may be recorded but this is not a hybrid event. Presentation material will be shared afterwards.

The workshop is exclusive to individuals intending to submit an Academy Research Fellowship application next Fall, DL 28.9.2022! Note that the eligibility window in 2022 call is 2-9 years from PhD award (cut-off dates 30.9.2013 and 20.9.2020). * The sessions follows the structure of the Academy Research Fellowship application * Each session will contain a brief lecture and Q&A * The lecture part of the sessions will be recorded but not the Q&A. Thus participation in the sessions is highly recommended! * Participants will have one week to produce a draft text of the section covered in the session that will be commented by the research funding specialist and a peer (or two) from the same field * CV and publications will not be commented * Participants will have until the 16th of September to send a draft of the full proposal to the research funding specialists (if needed and please note that Faculty-specific variation are possible).
