The Oulu Bioscience Networking Event 2018 is organized on Friday the 2nd of November at 4.30 - 8.30 pm, in Kieppi, Kontinkangas campus, University of Oulu.

This year the theme of OBNE is "Seeds to Successful Collaborations - Biobusiness Sprouting from Academia". We are very proud to have the CEO of Genevia, Antti Ylipää, and the CEO of Askel Healthcare, Virpi Muhonen, as visiting speakers as well as to hear our very own success stories from Oulu.

The theme this year represents academics, who have successfully started businesses from the basis of basic research, or managed to collaborate with large national and international businesses. We will hear their success stories as well as tips on how to have a fruitful collaboration or transition between academia and the business world.
