* Fibrobesity - Preventing Fibrosis Related to Obesity * Targets the triad of obesity, cellular deprivation of oxygen and fibrosis
* One of the three new research themes supported by the Academy of Finland PROFI6 funding (2021-2026) * Continuation of the University of Oulu's PROFI3 Fibrosis Diseasome under "FibroHealth - Combatting Fibrosis in Chronic Diseaseshttps://www.oulu.fi/en/fibrohealth-combatting-fibrosis-chronic-diseases"
