Apply Now to Get Enhanced Support as Coordinator for your Horizon Europe RIA(IA) proposal.
Pillar II funds top-down Research and Innovation activities of large consortia. Pillar II is organised in six clusters, which individually and together will promote interdisciplinary, cross-sectoral, cross-policy, cross-border and international cooperation: 1. Health; 2. Culture, Creativity and Inclusive Societies; 3. Civil Security for Society; 4. Digital, Industry & Space; 5. Climate, Energy and Mobility; and 6. Food, Bioeconomy, Natural Resources, Agriculture & Environment. A consortium is comprised of at least 3 partners from 3 different countries. This includes partners coming from member states and/or associated countries. However, usually a larger consortium is expected.
Research and project services offer enhanced support for researchers, who plan to coordinate a Research and Innovation Action (RIA) or an Innovation Action (IA) proposal in Horizon Europe calls (Clusters 1-6) with a deadline in spring 2024 (January-June).
The support is intended for applicants, who have prior experience from the Horizon Framework programme or similar (e.g. having been a partner of a Horizon project or having been involved in proposal preparation) but have never coordinated a proposal before.
The support consists of training, support in proposal writing (call analysis, impact and implementation, open science, DMP, gender), budgeting and graphic design.
Also, a small salary fund for the PI or an assisting researcher is available and external services for proposal review can be provided (subject to the availability of strategic funds).
All researchers planning to submit a proposal for the Horizon Europe RIA calls in spring 2024 (January-July) as coordinators can express their interest to be included in the support process by answering a short Webropol questionnairehttps://link.webropolsurveys.com/S/2766B2C7C2F6A7BF by Friday 29.9.2023.
All information provided will be kept confidential. The applicants selected for the support process commit themselves to participate in the support process for the proposal preparation and submit their final proposal to a call in 2024. Selected applicants will be invited to a kick-off meeting to go through the support process and schedule in October 2023.
Selection will be made based on the availability of services and the readiness level of the proposal preparation.
