Wildlife DNA Services University of Wales, Bangor, UK We would like
to announce that registration is now open for our training course
in Wildlife DNA Forensics. The seven-day course combines lectures
and practical sessions to provide participants with the skills to
apply population genetic tools to the investigation of wildlife
crime. Organised by Wildlife DNA Services, the course is aimed at
laboratory researchers and technicians interested in investigating issues
such as the illegal trade in animals, plants and their derivatives,
poaching and animal welfare crimes. Participants will learn how
to conduct all aspects of a forensic investigation from evidence
