Ketkä käyttävät tai aikovat ensi vuonna käyttää CodonCode Aligner -ohjelmaa sekvenssien editointiin? Genetiikalla on nyt 5 lisenssiä ohjelmaan, mutta tarvitaanko jatkossa niin montaa? Opetus-/ kurssikäytössä ei lisenssejä tarvita.
Are you going to use CodonCode Aligner for DNA sequence editing during year 2013. If so, please inform me, so I try to arrange enough licenses for us.

Dear Professor Savolainen,
Thank you for licensing CodonCode Aligner from CodonCode Corporation. Included with your initial Aligner license was a maintenance agreement that provided free software updates and technical support for one year. This maintenance agreement will expire on January 30, 2013.
You have the option of renewing your maintenance agreement for an additional year. With your academic discount, the renewal fee is $180 for each license.
By renewing your maintenance agreement now, you will continue to receive all updates released for an additional twelve months free of charge. In addition to free updates, users with current maintenance agreements will continue to receive technical support.
You do not need to renew your maintenance agreement to continue using the current version of Aligner. However, once your current maintenance agreement expires, you will no longer receive free updates to future Aligner versions or technical support. Also, please note that replacement license keys requested more than 2 years after the expiration of your maintenance agreement will require the (pre-) payment of an administrative fee (currently $60 per license key).
For your convenience, a pro-forma invoice for your renewal is attached to this e-mail as an Adobe PDF file. We would appreciate a brief email about whether you plan to renew your maintenance agreement.
