Hi all,

Geneticists’ Journal Club meets again next week, on Wednesday 22^nd at 14.30 in the lobby of Ympäristötietotalo. We will read the attached Molecular Ecology paper by Verta et al. (“Are long-lived trees poised for evolutionary change? Single locus effects in the evolution of gene expression networks in spruce”). I also attach a short perspective paper that deals with the same issue (entitled “A new approach to quantify the adaptive potential of gene expression variation in gymnosperms”).
