regular Genetics seminars start this fall on Thursday 20.9. 12:15 (location TBA). My suggestion is to have them about every other week, but adjusted so that they will not overlap with Department's Thursday seminars. 

I hope somebody from each research group would present their research or bring a visitor to present this fall. I have volunteered to present and Lumi Viljakainen has also promised to present her studies. Please contact me, if you want to present or have a paper etc that you want to discuss with the genetics group. So mark your calendars and don't be shy!

My suggestion is to start by discussing potential general issues and then the recently published ENCODE project that is relevant for everyone in genetics.
