We have our next meeting on thursday 18.11. at 12.15 in HU207. We will have a discussion about a review article published this year "Sequencing technologies - the next generation ". You find the article from our wiki page. This article reviews the current sequencing technologies and gives quite detailed technical descriptions on what kind of template is needed for different applications and what kind of data can you expect to have as end product. We thought this article could give a nice overlook of different applications and their possibilities, which we as geneticist should be aware of when we plan our projects and budgets.
