Hei,
the program for the 11th Kaamos Symposium is complete and we are ready to start Monday, 10.12. at 10:15 in the Kuusamonsali lecture hall YB210.
You can find the program online: http://www.flcrp.org/index.php?id=47
Plus the program including the abstracts of the presentations and posters as PDF: http://cc.oulu.fi/~akopatz/kaamos/11th_Kaamos_Abstracts_Program.pdf
There is no teaching at our department during the time of the symposium, so that everybody, teachers and students, are able to attend to the symposium.
Students, both Master students and PhD students, who participate in the whole symposium and write a summary of one talk, will get 1 study week (2 study points).
There will be a poster session with 15 posters on Tuesday, 11.12. just after the concluding remarks. The poster session will be held at the Botanical Gardens of the University. The Gardens are located on the northern edge of the Linnanmaa university campus, close to Lake Kuivasjärvi. The street address is Kaitoväylä 5. Walking distance is about 5 minutes.
Everybody, researchers, staff as well as graduate, undergraduate and exchange students in Biology and related fields, are very welcome to listen to the presentations, poster session and to the following symposium party!!!
