Tiedoksi biokemian opiskelijoille:

Opettajilla on käytössä tiedot kaikkien opiskelijoiden yliopiston sähköpostiosoitteista (paju / mail.student...). Oletus on, että opettaja saa tarvittaessa tällä osoitteella lähetettyä kursseja ja opiskelua koskevaa postia opiskelijalle. Monet opiskelijat käyttävät kuitenkin muita sähköpostiosoitteita (gmail jne.). Opettajat eivät välttämättä ole tietoisia näistä, ja monesti on tapauksia, joissa opettaja ei tiedä, että viesti ei olekaan mennyt perille opiskelijalle. Tämän takia opiskelijoiden olisi joko käytävä tarkistamassa yliopiston sähköpostilaatikkoaan riittävän usien (vaikka ei muuten käytä ko. osoitetta aktiivisesti) tai huolehdittava postin automaattinen kääntö siihen osoitteeseen, jota aktiivisesti käyttää. Opettajan vastuu viestin perillemenosta rajoittuu siihen, että hän lähettää viestin yliopiston opiskelijalle antamaan viralliseen sähköpostiosoitteeseen.

For all biochemistry students:

Teachers have access to the list of university email addresses (paju / mail.student…) of all students. It is supposed that when using this address the teacher can reach a student when in need to inform about a course and so on. Many students, however, use other e-mail addresses (gmail etc.). Teachers may not be aware of these, and it happens too often that a teacher does not know that the message has not reached the student. Because of this, students should either check the university email box frequently (even though he/she is not using that address actively) or set a forward to the address in active use. Concerning emails, the responsibility of the teacher is limited to using the official university email address.
