Just for those of you who have not heard yet, the merger is official. From 1st January 2014 we will be part of the Faculty of Biochemistry and Molecular Medicine (the name "institute of biochemistry and molecular medicine" was rejected for the sake of coherency across the university, but otherwise it is as described earlier.
We still have no good idea when the physical merger will happen, but I will keep you all in the loop when I know anything.
