The Biochemical Society of Oulu is organizing a recreation day for biochemists and biochemistry-minded professionals and students on Saturday 6th of June.
The day will start at 12:00 in Tietomaa (Nahkatehtaankatu 6), where we will climb down the tower of Tietomaa that is 40 m in height. The climbing equipment is provided and climbing guided (also in English) by the Climbing Society of Oulu. The Biochemical Society of Oulu sponsors this climbing activity about 50 % of the cost, and the members of the Society are at the first priority. The climbing costs 11 e, and the payment instructions will be sent to you after registration. The number of participants for climbing is limited to 10 persons so be quick! The registration is permanent and deadline is on Wed 3rd of June.
The day will continue by socializing at 14:00 with brunch at Restaurant Tuba (Mannenkatu 2). You are very welcome to join the brunch even if you don't want to take part in the climbing activity! Each participant pays the brunch him/herself. The list price for the brunch is 16 e per person but there is a potential chance for a group discount. Please register for the brunch by Wed 3rd of June so we can confirm the table reservation to the restaurant.
