Hyvä kiltalainen,

Olet tervetullut Histocon 2018   -tapahtumaan, joka järjestetään 26.-28.10.2018 välisenä aikana Linnanmaan kiltakompleksilla! Tapahtuma alkaa perjantaina 26.10. klo 18 alkaen ja päättyy sunnuntaina 28.10. klo 14. Histocon 2018 on Histoni ry:n järjestämä tapahtuma, jossa on kaikentasoisille pelaamisesta kiinnostuneille biokemisteille ja heidän ystävilleensä luvassa kaikenlaista ohjelmaa. Tulemme muun muassa pelailemaan tietokone-, lauta- ja konsolipelejä. Luvassa on myös erilaisia turnauksia ja hienoja palkintoja turnauksiin osallistuville!

Muistuttaisimme varaamaan/huomioimaan seuraavia asioita, jos ajattelit viipyä pidempäänkin laneilla (tänne saa tulla myös pelkästään katselemaan eli ei tarvitse varata kaikkia listattuja asioita):
  • Tietokone/konsoli/lautapelejä (ei pakollisia)
  • Oma lähiverkkokaapeli (mieluusti mahdollisimman pitkä, jos meinaat tuoda oman koneen)
  • Jatkopistorasia (jos tuot jotain sähköllä toimivaa)
  • Päivittämään/lataamaan/asentamaan tietokonepelit, niin pääsee heti pelailemaan
  • Ruokaa
  • Juomista
  • Käteistä (tilaillaan porukalla pitsaa tms.)
  • Lämmintä vaatetusta (saattaa tulla kylmä, jos pitkään istuu paikallaan isossa tilassa)
  • Paljon hyvää mieltä
  • Kavereita (tai voit tulla hankkimaan sellaisia täältä!)

Hello,

You are warmly welcome to Histocon 2018 event that will be held from 26th of October to 28th of October 2018 (26.-28.10.2018)! The event starts on 26th of October at 6 PM (18:00) and ends on 28th of October at 2 PM (14:00). Histocon 2018 is an event organized by Histoni ry, where all members or their friend can play computer, board or console games. Also, there will be gaming tournaments and fantastic prizes for participants in the tournaments!

We would recommend to reserve following things to Histocon 2018 if you are planning to stay longer here (you do not have to reserve all the items listed below if you just come to watch):
  • Own computer/console/board games (not a necessity, you can borrow from somebody else or do other nice stuff here)
  • Own RJ45 ethernet cable (if you are going to bring your computer, it should be as long as possible)
  • Extension cord (we are having a few of those, but if you have a lot of electric devices you should have one with you)
  • To update/install computer games
  • Food
  • Refreshments
  • Cash (we are going to order pizza etc.)
  • Warm clothes (staying still for long periods can cause coldness)
  • Lots of good will
  • Friends (or you can come here to make some!)
If you have some last minute questions or you are locked behind the doors at the university, you can send message through the official Whatsapp group of Histocon 2018 (you can be added to that group by asking from Lauri Rannaste, 040 410 6877).
